The Power of Consistency in Nonprofit Marketing

One of the biggest struggles I see with nonprofit marketing isn’t what to post, it’s keeping it consistent.

You might start with energy and ideas, but then a busy week hits, and marketing slips to the back burner. The problem? When your communication is inconsistent, donors and supporters can start to feel disconnected.

Consistency builds trust. It shows that your nonprofit is active, reliable, and committed. And here’s the good news: consistency doesn’t mean posting every day on every platform. It means showing up regularly enough that your audience knows they can count on you.

Quick Tip for Day 2:

Pick one channel, maybe Facebook, Instagram, or your email newsletter, and commit to posting on it consistently for the next month.

Start small: one post per week is better than three posts one week and then silence for a month. Over time, that steady rhythm builds momentum, keeps your nonprofit top of mind, and strengthens your relationship with supporters.

You don’t have to do everything at once. Just start where you are, stay steady, and keep building.

See you tomorrow for Day 3!
